Neighbourhood

The Keizerstraat is the oldest and most historic shopping street in Scheveningen and the surrounding area. The former fishermen’s houses in and around this cozy street provide a lot of cosiness.
The centerpiece of the picturesque center of Scheveningen is the Oude Kerk at the end of Keizerstraat. The church is the oldest monument of the former fishing village and dates back to the 15th century. If you continue past the church onto the boulevard, you will automatically arrive at the famous statue of the Scheveningen fisherman’s wife.
