When the weather refuses to be on your side and you require a moment to reflect, head to the brilliant Panorama Mesdag, which transports you to the dunes and the beach of 1881 with its 360 degree vision of the radiant Scheveningen village.

For the conscious foodies, enjoy the Zeeheldenmarkt every Thursday for sustainable and organic produce. For some conventional food shopping, head to one of the largest supermarkets in the centre, Albert Heijn XL.
When the sun is out, enjoy a picnic at Park Sorghvliet, the Scheveningse Bosjes or the Palace Garden.
